thank you Chris…the internet….my love/hate relationship.

The release of Apple’s newest iPad gadget earlier this week seems to be the buzz of the moment. We’ve all seen what the ipod and iphone has done to our digital world, and I’m wondering: does this new technology make us better or does it simply distract us from the way things used to be? An old buddy of mine wrote a really interesting article about the demise of the obituary page in printed news. I’m sure most of your are asking yourselves at this point, what does this have to do at all with kneticBLOG.

Well I guess what I’m trying to say is that many of us take for granted the mediums that were once our everyday, and at a certain point our only resource for information. As the iPad prepares to wipe out what is left of the modern day newspaper, I pray that the next few generation of musician’s are still able to recognize the sound and FEEL of a real piano. Then again why would you pay for a real piano when you could download an iphone app right? Hmmmmmm…Steve Jobs what have you done?

Either way what I’m typing as of right now is being formatted into a blog, so I’m really just shooting myself in the foot by complaining about the internet and its many faces. My message today is know your history and remember that the world had many ways of solving your problems before google answered them in a few key strokes. That is all for my sunday rant. Enjoy your day before the weekend runs away from us all.
